Killing Floor 3, the latest installment in Tripwire Interactive’s co-op survival horror series, is set to release on July 24, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Originally slated for March, the release was postponed to allow for additional polish following feedback from the closed beta.

• Setting: The year is 2091. Players join Nightfall, a rebel group fighting against Horzine Corporation‘s bioengineered monstrosities known as Zeds.
• Gameplay: A first-person shooter supporting up to six-player co-op and solo play. Players face waves of Zeds, earning in-game currency (“dosh”) to upgrade weapons and abilities. 
• Specialists: Choose from six unique classes, each with distinct weapons and skills. For example, the Ninja class wields dual swords and utilizes a grappling hook for swift movement.
• New Features:
• Enhanced movement mechanics, including dashing, sliding, and climbing.
• Environmental traps and interactive elements.
• Advanced enemy AI with new Zed types like The Impaler and wall-crawling Crawlers.
• The return of Zed Time, a slow-motion feature that activates during intense combat moments. 
• Progression: Players can customize weapons with mods, unlock new skills, and undertake optional narrative missions that expand the game’s story.
